Ramayana was written in Sanskrit by Valmiki ji, which even today is not easily understood by the common people without Hindi translation. To understand this, one has to take the help of Vedanga scholars. Probably this reason was the basis of Ramcharit Manas written by Goswami Tulsidas. Hundreds of meanings emerge when thought about every word of every verse of Ramayana and when thought about in context, a single word gets associated with many stories. In this book, I have tried to translate Valmiki's verses only in the form of simple couplets so that even if one does not understand Sanskrit, the same meaning can reach the people in simple Hindi by reading the couplet. That is why an attempt has been made to write couplets after breaking down the Sanskrit verses and making them easily readable and writing simple meanings. Due to the apprehension that this writing would take a lot of time, it could not be done under the best guidance, accordingly, despite not having much knowledge of quantity calculation, I have tried to write it by adopting the couplet quantity format. There have been and will always be possibilities for errors, mistakes and omissions in any effort. The effort has been to ensure that the simple meaning of Valmiki's verse remains intact in every couplet without changing its meaning and context. Accordingly, in this effort, only the literal translation has tried to understand the meaning in simple language.
