About the Author

Dr. Shreyansh Kumar Jain
I am Dr. Shreyansh Kumar Jain, and for more than five decades, yoga, naturopathy, and holistic health have been the central focus of my life’s work. This book, Yogic & Naturopathic Treatment of Diseases, is a systematic and
refined compilation of my articles, which have been regularly published in different newspapers over the years, addressing health, disease prevention, yogic lifestyle, and natural methods of healing. These articles were written with a single objective—to make the science of yoga and natural healing simple,
practical, and accessible to the common person. Due to consistent public response, readers’ queries, and growing awareness about drug-free living, it became necessary to bring these scattered writings together in the form form of a single, structured volume. This book therefore represents not theory alone, but decades of observation, experience, and public interaction. My academic background blends traditional wisdom with modern education. I hold a Master’s degree in Homeopathy, a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, a Diploma in Yoga, a Diploma in Acupressure, and a three- year NDDY Diploma. This multidisciplinary foundation has enabled me to examine diseases not merely as physical
disorders, but as imbalances involving lifestyle, thought patterns, diet, and environment. Teaching yoga has been a sacred mission of my life. I served as a Yoga teacher at the University of Jammu for 15 years, and later at the Central University for 8 years, 7 teaching Diploma, PG Diploma, and MA Yoga
programmes. Through university classrooms, workshops, camps, and newspaper columns, I have remained  continuously connected with society at large. I am also a Qualified Yoga Commissioner (Bharat Scouts Camp; Guides).
In addition to academics and writing, I have actively worked through various social, educational, and spiritual organizations, holding responsibilities such as:
 President, Vichar Kranti Manch International;
 State Chairman, Indian Yoga Association;
 State Convener (Yoga), Bharat Vikas Parishad;
 Vice President, Retired Officer Forum;
 Chairman, Senior Citizens Joy Society;
 Director, Multipurpose Cooperative Limited;
 Chief Advisor & Trustee, Sarv Uthan Trust;
 Chairman, Confederation of Voluntary, Social &
Charitable Organisations;
 Member, Board of Studies, University of Jammu;
 State President, Bhartiya Jain Milan.
My contributions in the field of yoga and holistic health have been acknowledged through numerous national and state-level honors, including Certificates of Appreciation, Outstanding Performance Awards, Yoga Preceptor Awards,
Yog Darshan Awards, and multiple Lifetime Achievement Awards conferred by Governors, Vice Chancellors, Central Universities, Ministries of the Government of India, and reputed national institutions. This book is not merely a compilation of articles—it is a chronicle of lived experience, shaped by real-life health
challenges faced by society and the practical yogic solutions offered through my writings. Every chapter is rooted in simple yogic practices, naturopathic principles, and lifestyle correction, tested through time and public acceptance. I sincerely hope that this book serves as a useful guide for students, practitioners, teachers, and health-conscious readers, and contributes meaningfully to the creation of a healthier, more aware, and self-reliant society through yoga
and natural living.

About the Book
“Meaningful way of Healthy Life''
(A mirror where you can correct your face)
In the modern world, humanity has developed numerous systems to treat diseases—Allopathy, Homeopathy, Magnetotherapy, Acupressure, Acupuncture, and many more. While these systems have their own significance and utility, most of them are not entirely free from side effects, limitations, or long-term dependency. Yoga, however, stands apart. Yoga is not merely a system of treatment; it is a holistic way of life. Rooted in ancient Indian wisdom, yoga works
on the body, mind, and soul together. When practiced correctly and consistently, it helps in preventing diseases, managing chronic ailments, restoring balance, and promoting overall well-being—without adverse side effects.
This book, “Yogic and Naturopathic Treatment of Diseases,” is a sincere effort to highlight the curative and preventive power of yoga and natural living. It is a curated collection of the author’s articles that have been published from time to time in various newspapers, based on practical  experience, observation, and a deep understanding of yogic science.
The book emphasizes that health is not achieved merely by medicines, but by right lifestyle choices—proper breathing, balanced diet, disciplined routine, mental calmness, and harmony with nature. It encourages readers to take

responsibility for their own health by adopting yogic principles in daily life.
This work is dedicated to all those who wish to live a life that is fit, healthy, peaceful, and largely free from ailments. By adopting the yogic way of life, one can move from disease management to true wellness.
Adopt Yoga. Live Naturally. Stay Healthy.
